Kahn Design owner Afzal Kahn whom you may remember has little too much money to burn is hell bent on putting the Brits back to the forefront of the automotive industry. He recently announced their collaboration with engine tuning firm Cosworth which will combine the design strengths of Kahn with the engineering of Cosworth to create “truly sensational” automobiles. The first project of the partnership was originally announced with a teaser image which did little to sensationalize the potential of the partnership, but now the full details and images have been released we see ourselves slowly warming up to the idea. The aggressive styling package featuring a road hugging body kit with a low riding front spoiler, flared arches and a large rear spoiler capped off with 22 inch lightweight alloy wheels. The interior gets a custom made perforated leather upholstery. Cosworth got to work on the TDV8 engine from the Range Rover Sport bumping power output up to 300bhp from 268bhp which now enables the model to accelerate from 0-62mph in under 8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 135mph. Pricing is yet to be officially announce but it is expected to cost around £75,000 – a £20,000 premium over the regular Range Rover Sport model.
