Porsche has already revealed the 997 facelift for the first half of the 911 range which include the Carrera variants and Carrera 4 variants. Also unofficial photos of the yet to be released Targa variants were taken recently at a media event in Spain, but we have to wait a few more months to see the Turbo models. Last time we saw a 997 Turbo facelift prototype, which was wearing no disguise, was back in February during cold weather testing. Now photos of Turbo Cabriolet have surfaced again, and its showing the same upgrades as the Coupe - bigger front bumper air intakes, redesigned rear bumper's exhaust outlets and air vents and the already familiar 997 family facelift upgrades such as LED daytime driving lamps and tail lights. But just like the base models, the Turbo facelift is more than just exterior restyling. Engine is upgraded to direct injection for an extra 20 to 30 hp, boosting it over the notorious 500hp mark. Despite the increase in power, the efficiency of the direction injection system will allow for 10 to 15% less fuel consumption.
