When Infiniti first announced the G37 Convertible for North America, overall reception was quite strong. Surprisingly, only a single image was released, and clearly it was not enough for Infiniti enthusiasts. So thankfully, along with the announcement that the G37 Convertible will be available in Europe summer 2009, Infiniti has issued a second image, this time a rear view. Although no details have been released yet, we expect the G37 Convertible to be spec'd closely to the North American version with a three-piece automatic retracting hardtop, standard six-speed manual transmission or optional seven-speed automatic with paddle shift as well as the same 3.7-liter V6 engine, although with 15 hp less than the North American car with 330 hp. No, the G37 Convertible will not be making its debut in Paris tomorrow, but instead as originally announced, we will have to wait until next month when more images and full details are revealed in Los Angeles.
