Within many automotive manufacturers, designers are forced to work under restrictions that make it difficult for them to produce a product that will create that ”wow factor”. Models such as the new BMW 7-series and the production Chevrolet Volt pay testament to this statement. However, for the many of the aspiring designers around the world, it is another story. No safety regulations to worry about, no financial restraints, just a peice of paper and a world of imagination. One designer who would likely fit into this segment is 33 year old Siamak Ruhi Dehkordi from Iran who presents to us the Ferrari Zobin Concept. The single seater model is clearly inspired by Ferrari's Formula 1 car. Its dimensions suggest it is quite a compact model with a length that measures 4.114 meters and a width of 1.855 meters – rougly the size of the Caparo T1. Exterior design focuses on giving the front end an F1 type ”open wheels” look. It features a quite unique structure with a metal band that wraps around the wheels, holding the headlights and also integrating the front spolier. The engine is placed in the mid-rear position for weight distribution efficiency. Source: carbodydesign
